1. Coachella Weekend 1
Weekend One of the Coachella Valley Music & Arts Festival runs Friday–Sunday, April 10–12, and even with passes sold out, the valley’s energy is unmistakable. The Empire Polo Club is set for a massive kickoff with headliners Sabrina Carpenter, Justin Bieber, and Karol G, plus standout sets from Disclosure, The Strokes, David Byrne, Devo, Kaskade, Major Lazer, Iggy Pop, Foster the People, Moby, and more than 100 additional artists. It’s the weekend the desert becomes the center of the music world—so even if you’re not heading through the gates, you’ll feel the buzz across Indio and beyond (and it’s a great time to dine out if you’re skipping the festival).

2. World Art Day
World Art Day brings a colorful four‑hour celebration to Palm Springs Downtown Park on Saturday, April 11 from 10 am–2 pm, with hands‑on art activities, local vendors, food trucks, and live performances near Museum Way. Guests can dress creatively, relax on blankets or lawn chairs, and enjoy a fun, family‑friendly afternoon. For even more inspiration, the Palm Springs Art Museum presents A Queer Arcana: Art, Magic, and Spirit, a perfect companion event to deepen your artistic weekend in the desert. 3. Pop-Up Drag Brunch
The Saguaro Drag Brunch Experience is turning up the heat for both Coachella weekends as it moves to Saffron Restaurant and Lounge, the chic Persian hotspot at Palm Canyon and Tachevah. Guests can enjoy a special brunch menu crafted just for the shows while the queens serve high‑energy performances at 10 am on Saturday and Sunday. Tickets for April 11–12 are already filling fast, and April 18–19 won’t be far behind.

The KGAY 103.1 Retro Lunch airs Monday through Friday from Noon–1 pm, with DJ Galaxy (Vincent Corrales) and DJ Eric Ornelas playing an hour of their high-energy throwback mixes. On Sundays, we put all five hours together for the Retro Sunday Brunch from 11 am–4 pm. Perfect party music!
