Here’s Your Gay Desert Guide for the Weekend: Feb 23-25, 2024 🌴

February 23–25, 2024

We’ve updated our newsletter this week, and I hope you like the refresh.  Not that we didn’t have enough else to do as one of the busiest February’s on record comes to a close…

I love the educational aspect of Modernism Week and have taken the opportunity to attend a few “lectures” featuring John Wayne’s son (with a Duke bourbon tasting afterwards – who could say no?), and “Classic TV Residences”.  There is always plenty of eye candy in our valley, but the stories are fascinating!

The parties have been fabulous as well, and there’s more events all weekend as Modernism Week comes to a close. Some of the unsung heroes are the photographers who capture the magic of Modernism. I asked them to pose for my meager iPhone for a quick pic, and wanted to salute their talents: David A. Lee Photography and Photos by Lani with J.P.
