Los Angeles, CA (The Hollywood Times) 1/23/23 – Here’s your chance to visit the Dior store, a pop up on Melrose Avenue located at 8175 Melrose Avenue. This location is filled with antique T-Bird cars in soft pastels and was inspired by Christmas in Venice, California. The designer was voted best dressed at Santa Monica High School at one time and was born in 1990.
They recreated a cafe inside that’s seriously dope with a ceiling to floor projection of the entire fashion show in Venice California in a Fashion Week context. Bigger than life models coming towards you and showing you the best in Dior high courtier, those boys can walk hallelujah! They had a little treat for us in the cafe, champagne and snacks served by very handsome young men in Dior aprons white t-shirts black slacks and delicious tennis shoes. With a nod to the Glitterati, the building was covered with blue and silver tinsel and glitter. We entered the ’90s time capsule collection chosen by Kim Jones and Eli Russell Linnetz marrying the names of both brands.
The pop-up will be operating until February it’s open from 11:00 to 6:00 p.m. and I highly suggest you pick up a $1,500 hoodie while you’re there!
