The day began at the iconic Sherwood Country Club with 18 holes of championship-level golf, played as a foursome scramble with celebrity players throughout the field. Following the tournament, the experience transitioned from the course to the stage as Andrew Watt joined Chad Smith and an all-star lineup of musician friends for an intimate live jam presented by Redan.

The Chad Smith Foundation is dedicated to bridging the gap in music access and opportunity for underserved youth. The Chad Smith Foundation (CSF) is a non-profit organization dedicated to championing music education, access, and opportunities for aspiring artists. Founded in August 2025 by legendary Rock & Roll Hall of Fame drummer Chad Smith of the Red Hot Chili Peppers, the foundation aims to inspire, empower, and nurture the next generation of musicians. CSF focuses on bridging the gap in music education for underserved youth and K-12 students by eliminating the financial and logistical barriers that keep them from discovering their musical passion.

Co-founded by Chad Smith and Executive Director Lewis Smith, the Foundation works to ensure the next generation of musicians has access to the education, instruments, mentorship and financial support needed to develop their talent and pursue their dreams—regardless of economic background. Through community programs, instrument donations, and strategic financial backing, the foundation serves as a critical launchpad for young talent across the country.(www.chadsmithfoundation.org)

Funds raised through Golf Jam ’26 will directly support the Foundation’s work providing music education programs, equipment and scholarships to young musicians.

The famed Jack Nicklaus-designed championship course has hosted some of golf’s most celebrated events and players, including Tiger Woods’ World Challenge, the Shark Shootout and the PGA Tour’s 2020 ZOZO Championship.
