Dracula: A Comedy of Terrors is a hit, 90-minute gender-bending stage farce written by Gordon Greenberg and Steve Rosen. Blending gothic horror with Monty Python-esque humor, it follows a vain, swoon-worthy Count Dracula who sets his sights on his real estate agent’s fiancé, and a female Van Helsing who hunts him.

Urinetown: The Musical is a Tony Award-winning satirical comedy musical that premiered in 2001, featuring music by Mark Hollmann, lyrics by Hollmann and Greg Kotis, and a book by Kotis. The show serves as an irreverent, self-aware lampoon of capitalism, social irresponsibility, corporate greed, bureaucracy, and the overarching conventions of musical theater itself. Modeled heavily after the neo-Brechtian theatrical style of Kurt Weill and Bertolt Brecht, the musical famously subverts typical Broadway tropes while delivering sharp political and environmental commentary.
This RSC MainStage production is directed by RSC co-founder JAMES OWENS (Avenue Q, 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee, Rent) directs the show and will once again assemble one of the finest casts of local talent to bring this unique revolutionary musical to life!

A “pig butchering” scam is a long-term financial fraud where criminals cultivate a fake romantic or personal relationship with a victim over weeks or months. The term comes from the agricultural metaphor of “fattening up a pig” before slaughtering it—the scammer patiently builds trust before manipulating the victim into draining their life savings.

MERMAN’S APPRENTICE
Merman’s Apprentice is a nostalgic, smart, and funny musical comedy with book and lyrics by Stephen Cole and music by David Evans. Set in the late 1970s, it tells the fable of a 12-year-old girl named Muriel who runs away from home to become a Broadway star.
After running away from home, the young and ambitious Muriel Plakenstein crosses paths with the legendary “Queen of Broadway,” Ethel Merman. Merman takes the aspiring star to a rehearsal for Hello, Dolly!, where Muriel sings. Hearing her talent, notorious producer David Merrick decides to star the child in an all-child cast of Dolly!, prompting Merman to take Muriel under her wing and teach her the ropes of Broadway.
The musical is highly regarded by theater aficionados for its tuneful, Golden Age-style score.

MERRILY WE ROLL ALONG
Merrily We Roll Along is a musical with music and lyrics by Stephen Sondheim and a book by George Furth. It is famously structured in reverse chronological order, tracing the lives and disintegrating friendships of three creative partners backwards through time.
The story follows three lifelong friends in the entertainment industry: Because the timeline moves backward, the audience first witnesses the trio as deeply estranged, jaded adults in the mid-1970s. It then rewinds through their career milestones, marriages, and compromises, finally ending in the late 1950s on a New York rooftop where they first meet as bright-eyed, optimistic young dreamers.

SWEET CHARITY
Originally directed and choreographed by the legendary Bob Fosse, Sweet Charity explores the turbulent love life of Charity Hope Valentine, a hopelessly romantic but comically unfortunate dance hall hostess in New York City. Sweet Charity is a classic 1966 Broadway musical that follows the romantic ups and downs of Charity Hope Valentine, an irrepressible, optimistic “taxi dancer” (partner-for-hire) in 1960s New York City who is desperate to find true love.
