Faith Eileen Bryan, 70, is a transgender woman, a retired newspaper journalist and a former college professor, who began her transition to her authentic self in 2012 at age 59. Faith worked for newspapers in her native California, South Carolina, Iowa and Minnesota before retiring after 32 years of patrolling sidelines, watching games, writing headlines and designing pages as a sportswriter, columnist, copy editor, slot editor, Sports Editor, and Managing Editor. Faith is retired and still writes and consults with The Hollywood Times. She and her partner Victoria, and their Peach Tabby kitty cat Hope live in the Spring Lake Park suburb of Minneapolis
