HOLLYWOOD QUEER SHORT FILM FESTIVAL announced today that it has entered into a media partnership with the Hollywood Times, a virtual newspaper covering the arts in Los Angeles.
“We are proud to join Hollywood Times in promoting our Short Film Festival, which screens Saturday and Sunday, October 4 and 5, in Hollywood. Both we and the Times are agreed that current events make the HQSFF theme, “Visibility is Resistance,” more important than ever.”
“A strong turnout for this festival will serve notice on the current regime, which makes no secret of their wish for us to disappear, that we’re not going anywhere,” Hoffman said. “And Hollywood Times is giving us their full support for the next three weeks leading up to the Festival.”
HQSFF screens at Founders MCC Church, 4607 Prospect Ave., Los Angeles 90027. Programs are at 2pm and 7pm each day. A full lineup of films, and a link to purchase tickets, can be found at the Festival website, hqsff.com.
