Episode five took us back on the Maginot, serving as a prequel to the events of episode one. Episode six brings us back to where we left off in episode four, with Wendy (Sydney Chandler)continuing to communicate with the baby alien. The main issue at hand is with Nips, who we saw malfunction in episode four. In this episode, we see her turned off; I would describe it as being sedated, but she is actually asleep. Dame Sylvia (Essie Davis) and Arthur explain the malfunction issue to Atom Eins (Adrian Edmondson), who insists she be up and running immediately. He demands they wipe her memory back to before her trauma. Arthur immediately pushes back, believing that this is not the right course of action, and he refuses to do it. Dame Sylvia offers to do it instead, resulting in Arthur (David Rysdahl) being fired.

Meanwhile, Boy Kavalier (Samuel Blenkin) and Kirsh (Timothy Olyphant) meet with Yutani (Sandra Yi Sencindiver) from Weyland Yutani Corp. They attempt to come to an agreement, but Yutani wants the creatures back, and there is a moderator from the Alliance present, who is not being very clear about the cargo. Boy Kavalier is also evasive about it. They agree on a $20 billion deal, but Kavalier mentions a quarantine period of six weeks, which Yutani cannot wait for. Her wheels are turning, and she and Morrow (Babou Ceesay) are plotting to sabotage the lab.

After Nips’ memory is wiped clean, Wendy has a conversation with her when she wakes up. Nips notices that something is off, as she cannot recall anything. Wendy tries to help her remember the incidents from the crash site, their big trip to the city, and even the pregnancy allegations, but Nips remains blank-faced. Wendy becomes upset and confronts Dame Sylvia, who attempts to rationalize her decision to wipe Nips’ memory, claiming it was for her own good.

Morrow has managed to convince Slightly (Adarsh Gourav) to follow his orders. Joe begins to plot an escape but is still focused on Slightly for his plan. He is saved by his colleagues, who are being sent on patrol. While in the air, Kirsh asks Tootles, played by Kit Young, to feed the creatures. Eager to help, Tootles feeds the sheep and then moves on to the creature that resembles a fly. When he opens the feeding tray, the door breaks. Unaware of his own strength, Tootles enters the cage instead of calling for help or trying to fix the door. He holds the door open with his foot when the sheep bangs against the glass, catching him off guard and sealing him inside. Initially, I thought he would be fine since he is synthetic, but the fly sprays him with a substance that melts his face. Surprisingly, the flies eat the goo that comes out of him, which I thought would harm them.

Joe (Alex Lawther) runs into Arthur while he is packing up to leave and asks about his sister Wendy’s safety. Arthur reassures him that she is as safe as money in a bank. The screen pans to surveillance footage of their conversation, indicating that they are being watched. Arthur shows Joe a computer screen with Wendy’s vitals but secretly writes a message that contains the code to a boat and unlocks tracking on the hybrids. Joe thanks him and walks away, while Arthur notices that Tootles’ tracker has been turned off and that he was last seen in the lab.
Arthur rushes to the lab, where he finds Slightly acting suspiciously. As he enters the lab with Slightly following him, he discovers Tootles dead in the pen. He attempts to pull Tootles out but realizes he is too heavy. Instead of helping, Slightly opens the container holding the alien egg and locks Arthur in the lab. A Xenomorph attaches itself to Arthur’s face while Slightly watches. I’m really starting to dislike Slightly. While I knew Arthur was leaving, I never imagined this would happen to him.
