Eris Talent Agency owner-partners Tina Randolph Contogenis and Amy Lord Posey are beefing up their business, hiring Adam Lieblein as the agent that reps standup comics and comedic performers.
Lieblein is a graduate of the UCLA School of Theater, Film and Television, and spent eight years as a producer of films, commercials, and television projects until 1993 when he launched Acme Talent & Literary. As President of Acme for sixteen years, he led a team of eighteen agents who represented actors for film, television, commercials, theatre, print and voiceover work, and writers for film and novels. In 2008, Acme’s various divisions in LA and NY were sold to other agencies, and Lieblein returned to the business of producing and teaching.
For the past 29 years, Lieblein has been teaching the Business of Acting at UCLA where he received the “Outstanding Instructor of the Year” Award from the Entertainment Studies division at UCLA Extension. He has served as a Lead Project Manager for Casting Networks International, and Director of Business Development for Breakdown Services and Actors Access. In 2021 Lieblein returned to the agency business, specializing in representing stand-up comedians for commercials. For the past two years he has produced and hosted a monthly standup comedy showcase with his clients at the world-famous Hollywood Improv!
