Outfest is seeking LGBTQ+ journalists of color to apply for our first ever press initiative for our Outfest Fusion QTBIPOC Film Festival! With our partner GALECA: The Society of LGBTQ Entertainment Critics, the initiative is focused on offering a small group of journalists mentorship, professional development and the opportunity to receive high level support while covering the festival.

Selected journalists will receive press accreditation, exclusive access to journalism workshops, one-on-one mentorship sessions and an invitation to become a GALECA member. The Initiative is open to early and mid career LGBTQ+ journalists of color over the age of 18.
