Universal City, CA (The Hollywood Times) 10/25/26 – Hollywood glamour met heartfelt generosity Saturday evening, October 24, as the Marine Toys for Tots Foundation celebrated its inaugural Legacy of Hope Gala, presented by Colossal, at the Sheraton Universal Hotel.
Hosted by television personality Mario Lopez, the black-tie celebration honored 79 years of bringing joy, hope, and smiles to children and families in need across the country.
The star-studded evening brought together entertainment personalities, military leaders, philanthropists, and supporters for a meaningful cause. The announced celebrity lineup included Montel Williams, Terry Fator, Naathan Phan, Garrett Clayton, Kate Linder, Lee Purcell, and others.
A highlight of the evening’s program was the recognition of outstanding individuals and organizations through the prestigious Hendricks Medals, honoring leadership, lasting partnerships, and contributions to the Toys for Tots mission. Honorees included Lieutenant General Terry Cooper, Mary Hagen of Colossal, Mike Paniccia of Group Sales, and Hasbro, represented by Rosalind Read.
With live entertainment and charitable auctions featured in the evening’s festivities, the gala was dedicated to supporting a mission that extends well beyond the holiday season.
Since its founding in 1947, Toys for Tots has delivered gifts and hope to more than 325 million children, reminding us that even the simplest act of kindness can create a lifetime of memories.
