Palm Springs, CA (The Hollywood Times) 6/11/26 – XOXO Palm Springs officially begins today, launching nearly two weeks of arts, culture, design, entertainment, and community celebrations throughout the city. Running June 11–22, the festival showcases the creative spirit that has made Palm Springs one of the world’s most beloved destinations for architecture, art, and innovation.
Among the many participating organizations is the renowned Modernism Week, which is offering two special experiences that highlight the city’s rich architectural heritage and midcentury modern legacy.
On June 12-13 and June 19-20, architecture enthusiasts can board a guided mini-coach tour through some of Palm Springs’ most celebrated neighborhoods and landmarks. Led by expert guides, the tours provide an insider’s look at the visionary architects, iconic buildings, and fascinating stories that helped shape Palm Springs into an international design destination.
Guests will discover why the city’s distinctive blend of indoor-outdoor living, clean lines, and desert modernism continues to inspire architects and designers around the globe.
One of the highlights of the XOXO Palm Springs lineup takes place on June 13 with a rare opportunity to tour the historic Twin Palms Estate, the former home of legendary entertainer Frank Sinatra.
Designed by renowned architect E. Stewart Williams, the estate is widely considered one of the most important examples of midcentury modern residential architecture in Palm Springs. Visitors will have the chance to explore both the home’s celebrated interiors and its stunning grounds while learning about its architectural significance and the glamorous Hollywood history that unfolded within its walls.
