Acorn TV is excited to share a sneak peek clip from an all-new episode of the original murder mystery series, You’re Killing Me. Executive produced by and starring Brooke Shields, along with stars Amalia Williamson (Sullivan’s Crossing) and Golden Globe-nominee Tom Cavanagh (The Flash, Ed), episode four of the six-episode series premieres Monday, June 8, on Acorn TV. You’re Killing Me, recently renewed for a second season, is created by Robin Bernheim (Mother of The Bride, Princess Switch).
Set in a quaint New England town, the mystery follows bestselling novelist, “Allie” (Shields), who forms an unlikely alliance with an aspiring writer and podcaster “Andi” (Williamson), to find the killer of a close friend. Cavanagh stars as “Jack,” the new lead detective of the local police department and former city slicker who is trying to acclimate to the quirks of small-town life.

I have to say, if you haven’t seen this new murder mystery show, it’s time to catch up on the first three episodes so you will be ready for tonight’s forth episode of “You’re Killing Me”. It’s a slap-happy sort of an episode which you will get my drift once you see it. The new episode has a playful, offbeat tone, including scenes of the crime-solving duo at the beach in waders. At the same time, it also delivers an emotional punch, so keep some tissues nearby. The chemistry between Brooke Shields’s character, Allie, and Amalia Williamson’s character, Andi, is one of the show’s biggest strengths. Their expressions, banter, and eye-rolling exchanges make them especially fun to watch. The dynamic has an appealing classic-detective feel that may remind viewers of Cagney & Lacey. So don’t miss the upcoming fourth episode on Monday, June 8 on Acorn TV.
