Lake Tahoe, CA (The Hollywood Times) 12/24/25 – Tahoe Live represented a major step forward for the festival, expanding into its first three day run and selling out all dates. Hosted once again at Palisades Tahoe, the event continued to stand apart as one of the few electronic music festivals in the country set directly within a world class ski resort, combining mountain lifestyle with immersive live performances at elevation.
Across the weekend, Tahoe Live brought together internationally respected artists and rare, emotionally resonant moments that went far beyond a standard festival experience. The result was a weekend defined by artistic intention, shared energy, and a strong sense of community rooted in the alpine setting.
A Final Chapter for LSZEE
One of the most significant moments of the weekend was the final performance of LSZEE, the collaborative project from LSDREAM and CloZee. Their set unfolded as a carefully curated journey that reflected the spirit of the project, blending bass music with themes of connection and mindfulness. The crowd responded with deep appreciation, creating a closing moment that felt intentional, reflective, and truly one of a kind.

Peekaboo Opens the Weekend with Momentum
Peekaboo helped launch the festival on night one with a high impact performance that immediately set the tone. Building on the momentum of his recent work, he introduced new material from his upcoming album, giving fans a glimpse into what lies ahead. The set energized the crowd and established a strong foundation for the days to follow.

Porter Robinson Reconnects with the Mountains
Porter Robinson returned to Lake Tahoe with a performance filled with emotion and nostalgia. A defining moment came when he played “Scary Monsters and Nice Sprites by Skrillex,” accompanied by visuals highlighting formative friendships from earlier in his career. The set felt like a reflection on growth, history, and the community that has followed him through each era.
Alison Wonderland Debuts a New Artistic Era
Alison Wonderland delivered one of the weekend’s most intimate performances, marking her first festival appearance since becoming a mother. Opening with the title track from her new album “Ghost World,” which features vocals from her son, she immediately set a deeply personal tone. The set introduced a new chapter in her artistry, centered on vulnerability, transformation, and creative renewal.
DJ Diesel and Jessica Audiffred Create a Standout Moment
DJ Diesel returned to Tahoe Live for a second year, bringing his signature high energy bass sound back to the mountains. Midway through his set, he surprised the audience by welcoming Jessica Audiffred back on stage following her earlier performance, praising her in front of the crowd. The exchange became one of the most talked about moments of the weekend.
Zeds Dead Close Out the Final Night
Zeds Dead wrapped up the final night with a powerful closing set that balanced intensity and reflection. Making their first appearance at Tahoe Live, the duo drew from “Return to the Spectrum of Intergalactic Happiness,” weaving together tracks that brought the weekend to a memorable close. Their performance left a lasting impression as the final notes echoed across the mountain.
First Time Appearances Add Depth to the Lineup
Sippy, Jessica Audiffred, and San Holo each made their Tahoe Live debut in 2025. Sippy delivered driving bass selections, Jessica Audiffred showcased her distinct blend of heavy bass and Latin inspired production, and San Holo offered an uplifting melodic contrast. Together, these performances added range and cohesion to the overall lineup.
A New Benchmark for the Festival
The 2025 edition marked Tahoe Live’s first three-day format, reflecting the festival’s continued growth and rising influence. With its single stage layout, no overlapping sets, and immersive alpine environment, Tahoe Live continues to define a unique space within the winter festival landscape.
By maintaining an intimate atmosphere while expanding its scope, Tahoe Live reinforced its identity as both a destination event and a community driven experience. The weekend set a new standard for the festival and established a strong foundation for what comes next.
