Hollywood, CA (The Hollywood Times) 11/23/24 – On November 21, 2024, I had the unique opportunity to attend the AVN & GayVN Nominations Party in Hollywood, California. Known as the adult industry’s equivalent of the Oscars, the AVN & GayVN Awards are the pinnacle of recognition for adult entertainment performers and creators. This year’s glamorous nominations event was held at the iconic Avalon Nightclub, with the festivities hosted by Blake Blossom and Alex Knight.
As a first-timer at an AVN event, I was excited to meet a mix of new faces and seasoned stars in the adult industry. While many of the names were new to me, I enjoyed interviewing a variety of performers, from rising talents to well-established figures, all of whom shared fascinating insights into their careers. The red carpet was buzzing with energy, and it was an eye-opening experience to learn about their journeys in the industry.
Outside the venue, the excitement was palpable, with fans gathered to catch a glimpse of their favorite performers. I spoke with several who had traveled from across the country, eager for the chance to meet their idols and get autographs.
The Nominations Party was hosted by AVN Media Network, with Blake Blossom and Alex Knight leading the evening’s presentations. Additional appearances were made by Trophy Girls Molly Little and Stella Luxx, AVN Media Network CEO Tony Rios, and reigning AVN MILF Performer of the Year, Penny Barber.
The night also highlighted the nominees for the 2025 AVN Awards, which recognize excellence across 98 categories in video, pleasure products, and retail. AVN also revealed the nominees for the 2025 GayVN Awards and the 2025 “O” Awards. The full list of nominees can be found on the official AVN website.
Looking ahead, the 2025 AVN Awards will take place on January 25, 2025, at Virgin Hotels Las Vegas. This annual event celebrates the very best in adult entertainment, honoring outstanding achievements across the industry. The 2025 GayVN Awards will also be held at Virgin Hotels Las Vegas on January 20, 2025, recognizing excellence in the gay adult industry.
