Fun & Fireworks
It’s an All American Fourth of July weekend and the City of Palm Springs presents a series of free events, including a concert in the Downtown Park by The Long Run Tribute to the Eagles on Saturday at 7 pm, a Dive-In Movie Night featuring the film In the Heights on Sunday at 7 pm, and a screening of A League of Their Own at Ruth Hardy Park on Monday at 7:30 pm. Then Tuesday, July 4 features Palm Springs Power Baseball, a Led Zepagain Tribute Band concert in the park, and a pool party at Palm Springs Swim Center, leading up to the big finale: a 9 pm fireworks show More info. You can also catch music, fireworks, and fun on the fourth at Agua Caliente in Rancho Mirage, as well as Palm Desert, and there are early fireworks shows on Saturday, July 1 in both Desert Hot Springs and Coachella. Fourth of July Pre-Party Roller Rink
Agua Caliente Cathedral City presents a Fourth of July Pre-Party on Saturday and Sunday, July 1 and 2, from 7 pm–midnight. There will be fun for all ages with food, music and gaming. A roller-skating rink will be open to all ages from 7–9 pm and then 21+ only from 9 pm–midnight. Skating sessions are $10 with $5 skate rental available. The July 2 party will also feature a hot dog eating contest. More info |
