Beverly Hills, CA (The Hollywood Times) 12/22/23 – The red carpet at the 21st annual Unforgettable Gala at the Beverly Hilton was where the action was on Dec. 18th as the show truly was unforgettable. The Unforgettable Gala, also known as UNFO, is the largest and longest Asian and Pacific Islander awards show.

This year’s award-winners include Actor in Film honoree Charles Melton of “May December,” Actor in TV honoree Steven Yeun of “BEEF,” Breakout in TV honoree Young Mazino of “BEEF,” and Breakout in Film honoree Greta Lee of “Past Lives.”

Marking the 50th anniversary of his death, the legendary Bruce Lee was honored with the Lexus Legacy Award, accepted by his daughter, Shannon Lee.

Among the celebs who appeared on the red carpet were  American Idol Iam Tongi, Broadway veteran DeeDee Mango Hall, and Lee Rodriguez of  Netflix’s  “Never Have I Ever.” Everyone showed their excitement at being among their peers at the Gala, many were of them there for the first time.

Here is our YouTube video of interviews on the red carpet:

Unforgettable Gala was created in 2002 by James Ryu, founder, and publisher of Character Media, to celebrate diversity across the API community and recognize the successes of the past year. The black-tie affair highlights celebrities, influencers, and leaders who have contributed to the arts, entertainment, and culture.
