Viral, alt-pop sensation Zolita will be bringing her North American headline tour to Los Angeles on March 1 at The Echo where $1 from every ticket sold will be donated to the Trevor Project. She’ll be performing songs from her brand new Falling Out / Falling In EP and there are going to be some fun surprises for the crowd, too!
Receiving critical acclaim and adding to her more than 140 million streams, Zolita just released her new single “Crazy Ex” which sees an out-of-character Zolita acting on every toxic impulse – including tracking her ex’s location, sabotaging a new relationship, and breaking out into a Coyote Ugly style choreographed dance – in the wake of her breakup from lead single “20 Questions.” Her previous single, earnest, love song “Ashley,” capped off her new narrative of Falling Out / Falling In music videos which started with singles “20 Questions” and “Ruin My Life.” The story saw Zolita confront her now-ex girlfriend about her infidelity before heading out on a road trip and ending up in her hometown for a friend’s bachelorette party where it’s revealed in a flashback that there was a romantic connection between Zolita and the bride-to-be.
Introducing a new cinematic universe of movie-quality videos following the runaway viral success of her recent “Somebody I F*cked Once” trilogy, Zolita’s Falling Out / Falling In EP unpacks the devastating, confusing, and joyful process of falling out of love, getting over someone, and falling in love with someone else. Celebrating the release of the new cinematic universe of movie-quality videos, Zolita will also to the stage at U.S. festivals including Governors Ball and Boston Calling this summer, following her first North American headline tour.
Using classic tropes and nostalgia at the emotional core of her colorful, narrative-driven music videos that she self directs, produces and edits, Zolita uses her passion for both music and filmmaking to center LGBTQ+ characters and share joyful queer stories as a way of fostering inclusivity and connection.
