Vanessa Collier, born and raised in Texas, weaves funk, soul, rock, and blues into every powerful, soulful song she plays. This stunning, charismatic, multi-talented instrumentalist and vocalist is supported by a band that will knock your boots off!
With Grammy Award nominee, Byron Kidd Cage, from upstate New York on drums, and Laura Chavez, from San Diego on guitar, the first female artist in the 44-year history of the prestigious National Blues Music Awards to win top honors as a guitarist. The bass was held down tight and funky by Scot Sutherland from Des Moines, IA, nominated for the 2022 Blues Music Award.
This band hit the stage with talent, enthusiasm, and passion for their art. Vanessa’s talent as a Songwriter shined true. The jam with Vanessa on sax and Laura on guitar closed the show. It was playful, expressive, and downright captivating. They left the crowd at Nashville’s iconic The Vinyl Lounge wanting more!
