Hollywood, California (The Hollywood Times) 05/16/2024
I attended the premiere of Drag Me To The Movies at the legendary World of Wonder in Hollywood, California last night. I had the opportunity to interview some of the show’s stars. I interviewed Ginger Minj (RuPaul’s Drag Race S7, All Stars S2, S6), who was hilarious and told me all about her two episodes. One of the episodes, A Star is Spawned, is a parody of A Star is Born with Lady Gaga. There have been many renditions of this story over the years, and this is my absolute favorite. In fifteen minutes, it takes you to a crazy place that is hell-bound and nonstop laughter. I had the opportunity to interview several attendees.
I interviewed Mayhem Miller (RuPaul’s Drag Race S10, All Stars S5, S6). She was out of drag, so she was unrecognizable. She told me this was her first acting gig and that she was very excited about it.
Next up was Daniel Franzese (House of Laughs, Yass Jesus!), and we discussed the Mean Girls musical and his Ted Talks on the Teddy Talks with Daniel Franzese on the Growlr Live app during the long-forgotten pandemic.
Lastly, I got to interview the amazing Angeria Paris Vanmichaels, who told me about her upcoming season of All Stars season 9. I had interviewed her in the past, and she was as charismatic as always. She says this season of All Stars, we’re going to see more elevated looks since the girls brought the money this season. I’m super excited and can’t wait to see her in it and the whole season of Drag Me to The Movies.
