The Diana Auction at Julien’s it’s Peninsula Hotel

By Tequila Mockingbird

Beverly Hills, CA (The Hollywood Times) 6/28/24 – Princess Diana wasn’t always a style icon. She grew into it as years of trial and error led her to develop her own personal work of art… herself.

Her taste became impeccable and as she grew, her image became world famous.  Who doesn’t want to own something that belonged to the icon?
Owning a frock that belonged to Diana is like owning a magic talisman filled with history and mystery.
Indeed, it is also a very expensive talisman!
A very special auction was held at the Peninsula Hotel in Beverly Hills featuring the beautiful and exciting Clobber (British slang for clothing) that belonged to the late Princess of Wales and once again if you have to ask you can’t afford it.
The auction netted an amazing $5.5 million dollars with an enthusiastic bidding crowd lusting after Diana’s gowns dresses and pumps.
The highest earning most expensive elegant gown sold for a million dollars. Almost everything blew past it’s expected price by incredulous amounts. Her blue tool diamante star gown sold for $780,000.
