New Pre-Race Show “NASCAR Countdown Live” to Air Prior to All 33 Xfinity Series Races
NASCAR Xfinity Series Made its CW Debut on Friday, September 20 from Bristol Motor Speedway
BURBANK, CA – The CW Network and NASCAR today announced the dates and tracks for all 33 races in the upcoming 2025 NASCAR Xfinity Series.
The season kicks off on Saturday, February 15, 2025 at the legendary Daytona International Speedway and visits iconic tracks including the historic Rockingham Speedway on Saturday, April 19, 2025, Talladega Superspeedway on Saturday, April 26, 2025 and the fan favorite Chicago Street Race on Saturday, July 5, 2025. The Xfinity Series will also return to Mexico City for a milestone race from the world-class Autódromo Hermanos Rodríguez road course on Saturday, June 14, 2025. Additionally, Bristol Motor Speedway will become the opening race in the Xfinity Series Playoffs on Friday, September 12, 2025.
The NASCAR Xfinity Series made its CW debut on Friday, September 20, 2024 from Bristol Motor Speedway and continues through the 2024 playoffs. Coverage begins with the new pre-race show NASCAR COUNTDOWN LIVE (7:00-7:30 p.m. ET), with the race beginning at 7:30 p.m. ET as drivers make their final push to qualify for the Xfinity Series playoffs. NASCAR COUNTDOWN LIVE will prepare viewers for the upcoming race by providing insight and analysis on teams and drivers leading up to the green flag. The pre-show will air prior to all 2024 Xfinity Series playoff races and all 33 Xfinity Series races in 2025.
Comprised primarily of NASCAR’s younger, up-and-coming drivers, the NASCAR Xfinity Series features the sport’s future stars often competing side-by-side against NASCAR’s biggest names—many of whom earned their stripes and won championships in the Xfinity Series. NASCAR Xfinity Series races in some of the nation’s largest markets—from Chicago to Dallas to Miami—and at the sport’s most iconic tracks, including Daytona International Speedway, Talladega Superspeedway and the series championship at Phoenix Raceway.
The CW becomes the exclusive home to the NASCAR Xfinity Series, extending through the 2031 racing season. For the first time in series history, every NASCAR Xfinity Series race will be available on free, over-the-air broadcast television with additional content available through The CW’s digital platforms. All 2025 NASCAR Xfinity Series races and ancillary content will be fully produced by the Emmy® Award-winning NASCAR Productions group, in close collaboration with The CW.
