Los Angeles, CA (The Hollywood Times) 1/3/22 – With just a few days since her passing, Betty White fans have created the #bettywhitechallenge to honor her love for animals. The challenge is set to take place on January 17th which would mark her 100th birthday. Twitter user Rex Chapman announced the challenge on twitter, encouraging users to donate $5 to a local animal shelter in Betty White’s name.
Just days before her death, Betty White promoted her upcoming documentary titled ‘Betty White: 100 Years Young – A Birthday Celebration,’ which is set to release in theaters on January 17, 2022.
