On Tuesday, July 11, 2023, ESPY Nominees & Presenters, Preeminent Athletes, and other A List talent received over $40,000 in gifts at the ‘Teqball USA Pre- ESPY Luxury Lounge Presented by GBK Brand Bar and LA Magazine’ at Kimpton La Peer Hotel, 627 La Peer Drive, West Hollywood, CA 90069.
The ESPY Awards honors the top athletes and sport performances of the year. GBK Brand Bar, directed by CEO Gavin Keilly, known as the “Gift Bag King” is the forerunner in luxury celebrity gift lounges.
Teqball, founded by Gabor Borsanyi, an international sport, played on a specially curved table (the TEQ table) is the fastest growing sport in the United States. Teqball, whose aspiration is to expand technical skills, concentration, endurance, is captivating a new generation of athletes and fans!
All invited guests received impelling gifts that included: a five-night African safari from Lush African Safari, an ocean front villa from Sailrock Resort, a shiny Table from Teqball USA-to be gifted to the Talent’s choice school or charity, PHASE Activewear, Savant’s Cync Smart Indoor Security Camera, LA Smile Dentistry bestowed a $5,000 gift certificate, and Signal Relief patch for pain alleviation!
Inside the lounge, I briefly chatted with the handsome, 6ft 3 “Isaac Keys, American actor and former American and Canadian football player. He served as a National Football League linebacker for the Minnesota Vikings, Arizona Cardinals and Green Bay Packers
I was pleased to be able to meet and chat with ESPY Nominee Erica McKee, her husband paralympian Kevein Mckee, previous ESPY winner Sarra Reinerstein, and paralympian Cheri Blauwet . They generously offered me a seat and a cool glass of water under their umbrella shaded table.
All guests enjoyed exclusive spirits from El Christiano Tequila, Calabria Family Wines and Quixote Winery and nibbled on tasty sandwiches from Ike’s Love & Sandwiches and stayed refreshed with Topo mineral water inside the Rooftop lounge.
ADM Entertainment provided lively music. House of Pickleball offered lessons, while Teqball USA encouraged guests to play for their charity of choice.
More gifts were offered by Kalmando Armosaound Therapy Candles and PINKY, a pinky stabilizer for smart phones.
Some of the most famous athletes visited the lounge, which included David Justice, TJ Ward, Zion Bowens, James Worthy, Odafe Oweh, Dion Dawkins, Norman Nixon, Chuck Aoki, Marcus Williams, Rodney Peete, Akbar Gbajabiamila, Erin Coscarelli, Issac Keys, Darrell Taylor, Jerry Jacobs, Theotis Beasley, Brittany Gilman, Walther Thurmond III, NFAPA President, James Washington and Marcus Williams and many others.
The greatest surprise guest was human rights activist Richard Lapchick, who received the Stuart Scott ENSPIRE Award at the ESPYS.
