TCA Welcomes Paramount+ in-person Panels for Six of Their Upcoming Shows 2023 The Langham Huntington Hotel, Jan 9th

Pasadena, California (The Hollywood Times) 01/09/2023 – The first day of the in-person Television Critics Association (TCA) Network panels, which started off with Paramount+.  Here are the six shows that were featured today at the Langham Hotel in Pasadena.  We will feature more in-depth articles of each of these shows as they get closer to their premiere dates, so stay turn for that!

Here is a photo of the gift from Paramount+ placed on the tables for the media.  Really cool Bamboo Dual Power Bank with Wireless Charger, who can’t use one of these! A package of several delicious chocolate dipped pretzels with a round sticker of the Paramount+ logo. Thank you Paramount+.

We always have a wonderful breakfast, lunch and today we had a “At Midnight” themed break with churros, delicious Horchata, fruit, Mexican bottled Coke and an expresso bar!

After the last panel there was a cocktail reception with mini-golf of several holes to be played Paramount+ style.  Talent from the panels mingle with the media to enjoy cocktails, light desserts, stories and laughter.

Starring Kiefer Sutherland, The Series Is Produced by CBS Studios

Jan. 9, 2023 – Paramount+ today announced the premiere date for RABBIT HOLE and released the series teaser art. Produced by CBS Studios, the eight-episode season will premiere Sunday, March 26 with two episodes. New episodes will drop weekly on Sundays, exclusively on Paramount+ in the U.S. and Canada, and on the following day Mon., March 27 in the U.K., Australia, Latin America, Italy, Germany, Switzerland, Austria and France. The premiere date in South Korea will be announced at a later date.

The panel was happy to be back live and in person for the official first day of TCA in Pasadena.  Kiefer Sutherland said he recognized voices but could not really see our faces and someone mentioned it must be the mask we all had to wear.  But we must all be safe these days. The cast all talked about their characters and preparation for them and even joked about learning that they fit in a trunk said actor Roy Yang as well as actress Meta Golding.  Kiefer was excited to be part of this show from creators John Requa and Glenn Ficarra and. This is a show that will keep you in suspense and wanting the next episode NOW. They are more like a movie than an episode.  March can’t come soon enough!

The news was revealed by RABBIT HOLE showrunners, John Requa and Glenn Ficarra, during Paramount+’s Television Critics Association presentation. The RABBIT HOLE panel also included series stars Kiefer Sutherland, Meta Golding, Enid Graham and Rob Yang.

Jan. 9, 2023 – Paramount+ today announced that its new original series GREASE: RISE OF THE PINK LADIES will premiere on Thursday, April 6, exclusively on Paramount+ in the U.S. and Canada. The series will premiere the following day in the U.K., Australia, Latin America, Italy, Germany, Switzerland, Austria and France. The premiere date in South Korea will be announced at a later date. Following the premiere, new episodes  of the 10-episode long season will be available to stream weekly on Thursdays for subscribers in the U.S. and Canada, and on Fridays for subscribers in the U.K., Australia, Latin America, Italy, Germany, Switzerland, Austria and France.

GREASE: RISE OF THE PINK LADIES is written and executive produced by Annabel Oakes (“Atypical,” “Transparent”), who also serves as showrunner and director. Marty Bowen and Wyck Godfrey executive produce for Temple Hill,  Adam Fishbach also executive produces, and Alethea Jones (“Made For Love,” “Dollface,” “Evil”) directed the pilot plus two more episodes and executive produces. Jan. 9, 2023 – Paramount+ today revealed new teaser art for the third and final season of its hit original series, STAR TREK: PICARD. The new teaser art was revealed during the series’ panel at Paramount+’s Television Critics Association presentation. The STAR TREK: PICARD panel featured series star Patrick Stewart, along with cast members Michael Dorn, Gates McFadden, Jeri Ryan and Michelle Hurd; showrunner and executive producer Terry Matalas; and executive producer Alex Kurtzman.

During the panel, Alex Kurtzman, EP said “Who knows?” when she was asked about the ending of the series.  Actor and star Patrick Stewart said if the show could “maintain the work quality” of the first three seasons, he would be open to reappearing and went on to say that the storylines of the final season intentionally “leave doors open.”

STAR TREK: PICARD

STAR TREK: PICARD features Patrick Stewart reprising his iconic role as Jean-Luc Picard, which he played for seven seasons on “Star Trek: The Next Generation,” and follows this iconic character into the next chapter of his life. LeVar Burton, Michael Dorn, Jonathan Frakes, Gates McFadden, Marina Sirtis, Brent Spiner, Jeri Ryan and Michelle Hurd star alongside Patrick Stewart in the third and final season of the hit Paramount+ original series.

STAR TREK: PICARD

The series is produced by CBS Studios in association with Secret Hideout and Roddenberry Entertainment. For season three, Alex Kurtzman, Akiva Goldsman, Terry Matalas, Patrick Stewart, Heather Kadin, Aaron Baiers, Rod Roddenberry, Trevor Roth, Doug Aarniokoski and Dylan Massin serve as executive producers. The official trailer and key art debuted during the film’s panel at Paramount+’s Television Critics Association presentation, featuring stars Monica Barbaro, Diego Boneta, and director Jonah Feingold. The film will be available to stream globally on Paramount+ in the U.S., Canada, U.K., Australia, Latin America, Brazil and Italy, with premiere dates for other Paramount+ international markets announced at a later date.

AT MIDNIGHT centers around Alejandro (Diego Boneta, “Father of the Bride”), an ambitious hotel manager, and Sophie (Monica Barbaro, “Top Gun: Maverick”) a movie star navigating the politics of Hollywood. He’s focused on opening his own boutique hotel. She’s trying to focus on shooting her new superhero film “Super Society 3,” in hopes of getting her own spinoff, but catches her co-star (and boyfriend!) Adam (Anders Holm, “Workaholics”) cheating. Fate strikes when the shoot brings them all to Alejandro’s hotel in Mexico. Despite their radically different lives, Alejandro and Sophie begin to secretly meet At Midnight

Jan. 9, 2023 – Paramount+ today announced that its new original series FATAL ATTRACTION will premiere with two episodes on Sunday, April 30, exclusively on Paramount+ in the U.S. and Canada. The series will premiere the following day in the U.K., Australia, Latin America, Italy, Germany, Switzerland, Austria and France. The premiere date in South Korea will be announced at a later date. Following the premiere, the remaining six episodes will be available to stream weekly on Sundays in the U.S. and Canada, and on Mondays in the U.K., Australia, Latin America, Italy, Germany, Switzerland, Austria and France.

The announcement was made during the series’ panel at Paramount+’s Television Critics Association presentation. The FATAL ATTRACTION panel featured series stars Joshua Jackson, Lizzy Caplan, Amanda Peet, Alyssa Jirrels and executive producers Alexandra Cunningham, Kevin J. Hynes and Silver Tree.

FATAL ATTRACTION is a deep-dive reimagining of the classic psychosexual thriller and ‘80s cultural touchstone. The new series will explore fatal attraction and the timeless themes of marriage and infidelity through the lens of modern attitudes toward strong women, personality disorders and coercive control.
