DETROIT – On Sunday, September 26, STARZ hosted a special Detroit screening and Q&A session for the highly-anticipated new series, “BMF” with members of the cast and creative team including Executive Producer/Director Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson and showrunner, executive producer, writer and Detroit nativeRandy Huggins at the Emagine Royal Oak in Royal Oak, Michigan. “BMF ” was produced in Atlanta and Detroit, where the real-life Black Mafia Family that inspired the series had bases of operation from the 1980-2000s. IThe night began with guests viewing the first episode of the series, which premiered on STARZ that evening.
Following the premiere screening, guests attended a Q&A featuring Jackson and Huggins, who were joined by cast members Demetrius “Lil Meech” Flenory Jr., Da’Vinchi, Russell Hornsby, Michole Briana White and Detroit native Arkeisha “Kash Doll” Knight. Additional cast in attendance were Myles Bullock and Holmes Lindsay IV.
“BMF” will move to its regular time slot at 8 PM ET/PT starting on Sunday, October 3. The series will air across all STARZ platforms in the U.S. and Canada and will air day and date internationally on the STARZPLAY premium streaming platform across Europe, Latin America and Japan.
