Twice in one week I had the opportunity to experience WonderWorks in two completely different environments!
Sensory Day is incredible for children with special needs. The building is turned down to provide a safe and fun space for Adults and Children. Music, loud exhibits and flashing lights are turned off. Limited stimulation makes it easier to manage and not get sensory overload.
Sales manager Paula Fredrick said “We love providing this to several of our local schools. We work with Margaret K. Lewis school, St. Andrew school and multiple others come to enjoy this special day. It is also open to the public. Sensory Days for special needs is one of our favorite days.”
The siblings, moms, dads and grandparents came and joined in. It was very rewarding for me to come see everyone having such a wonderful family time.

Three days later I experienced the party room. My granddaughter enjoyed her 7th Birthday at WonderWorks. She had 17 friends plus family and parents in the room comfortably. Pizza was served hot and delicious with lots of cheese! Next we had cake and she opened presents. After the children proceeded to the games. Parents are welcome with a discounted price. Different packages are available.
