SENATOR ALEX PADILLA JOINS THE 25TH ANNIVERSARY LOS ANGELES EQUALITY AWARDS HONORING JULIAN BREECE ON OCTOBER 5

WHAT: Equality California, the nation’s largest statewide LGBTQ+ civil rights organization, will honor writer-director Julian Breece (Rustin) with the Equality Visibility Award at the 25th anniversary Los Angeles Equality Awards. The organization will also honor Greg Sarris, the Federated Indians of Graton Rancheria Chairman, with the Community Leadership Award. Hosted by Sasha Colby, the marquee event will be held at Los Angeles’s Fairmont Century Plaza on Saturday, October 5, 2024. U.S. Senator Alex Padilla, California State Treasurer Fiona Ma, and California State Superintendent for Public Instruction Tony Thurmond will be speaking. Guests will enjoy an electrifying set from DJ Kim Anh.
