‘Guardians of the Galaxy,’ ‘Hellboy’ Standouts to appear at the Ernest N. Morial Convention Center in first FAN EXPO
NEW ORLEANS, November 18, 2021 – Two of the most popular and personable celebrity guests at FAN EXPO events, Michael Rooker (Guardians of the Galaxy, The Suicide Squad) and Ron Perlman (Hellboy, “Sons of Anarchy”), will attend the first FAN EXPO New Orleans, scheduled for January 7-9, 2022 at the Ernest N. Morial Convention Center. They are the first two stars announced for the major comics, sci-fi, horror, anime and gaming convention kicking off the 17-show FAN EXPO slate in 2022.
At the event, Rooker and Perlman will greet fans, sign autographs, pose for photo ops and conduct Q&A panels discussing their respective careers. Additional FAN EXPO New Orleans celebrities, voice actors, creators, cosplayer and more will be announced soon.
Rooker, who starred recently as “Savant” in the blockbuster DC Comics film The Suicide Squad, is also known for top roles in the Guardians of the Galaxy franchise as well as “The Walking Dead,” Henry: Portrait of a Serial Killer, Eight Men Out and more than 100 other screen credits. He will appear on Saturday and Sunday, January 8-9.
Perlman, perhaps best known for the title role in the Hellboy films, is one of Hollywood’s most prolific actors, appearing in more than 250 films and TV series. FAN EXPO fans also recognize him readily from “Sons of Anarchy,” “Hand of God,” “Beauty and the Beast,” Blade II and many others. He will appear on Saturday, January 8 only.
