Los Angeles, CA (The Hollywood Times) 11/17/22 – Yesterday, The DisInsider debuted its nominees for the 2022 DisInsider awards. The ceremony takes place in early December and will be hosted by The Disinsider co-founders Skyler Shuler and Derek Cornell. The Disney+ original short film Remembering has been nominated for Best Short Film or Series; its contenders include; Baymax!, Cars on the Road, I am Groot, Reflect, and Zootopia+.
Remembering is a short film directed by Elijah Allan-Blitz and stars Academy Award Winning actress Brie Larson. It follows a young writer, played by Larson, who loses an important idea when her phone rings. The only way for her to find this idea is to tap into her inner child, which will lead viewers on a journey through the world of imagination and show us how much inspiration we can gain from it if we take a moment to remember.
The film also includes an augmented reality app for viewers to download and use to scan their screens for a more interactive experience.
The winners of The DisInsider 2022 awards are determined by voter preference. Voting begins on November 27th. For more information, visit The DisInsider website.
