Our Lady J, Angelica Ross, Trace Lysette, and more attend Outfest Los Angeles LGBTQ Film Festival’s 5th Annual Trans & Nonbinary Summit

Yesterday, the 2021 Outfest Los Angeles LGBTQ Film Festival hosted its 5th Annual Trans & Nonbinary Summit that featured an afternoon of panels, a keynote speech, and a table read of Razor Tongue Season 2 by Rain Valdez, read by a robust cast of trans & nonbinary actors.

The summit hosted additional talent including Our Lady J (Writer & Producer, Pose & Transparent), Angelica Ross (Actress, Pose), Trace Lysette (Actress, Transparent), Zackary Drucker (Producer, Transparent), Alexandra Grey (Actress, MacGyver & Empire), Candis Cayne (Performance Artist), Rachel Leyco (Filmmaker & Actress, Atypical) and more.

2021 OUTFEST LOS ANGELES LGBTQ FILM FESTIVAL HOSTS A MOVING AFTERNOON WITH THEIR 5TH ANNUAL TRANS & NONBINARY SUMMIT 

Panel and keynote were accompanied by special in-person appearances by talent and a table reading of Razor Tongue Season 2 by Rain Valdez and a cast of trans & nonbinary actors

WHAT:

Returning for its 5th year, the Outfest Trans & Nonbinary Summit was held this past Saturday, August 21st, and was a celebration of the commUNITY built across the 5 years of programming. This year’s summit consisted of 3 separate back-to-back programs – the summit Keynote Address & “Post-Pose: The Future of Trans & Nonbinary Storytelling” Artist Panel featuring prominent and emerging trans & nonbinary creators, such as Zackary Drucker, Our Lady J, Nava Mau, D’Lo, River Gallo and Jacob Tobia, a Shorts Program highlighting up-and-coming trans & nonbinary filmmakers, and a Table Read Preview (Episodes 1-4) of Razor Tongue Season 2 by Rain Valdez, read by a robust cast of trans & nonbinary actors. The summit ended with a lively reception celebration with attending talent and guests.
