AMC Networks made the following programming-related announcements at its upfront event at Jazz at Lincoln Center this evening:

  • Active development of a third series in the expanding Anne Rice Immortal Universe, with John Lee Hancock on board as showrunner and writer.
  • An expansion of the successful Growing Up Hip Hop franchise with new series Toya & Reginae, featuring ex-wife and daughter of hip hop legend Lil Wayne, Toya Johnson-Rushing and Reginae Carter – both of whom appeared on Growing Up Hip Hop.
  • New WE tv series Bev is Boss, based on the life of music managing mogul Deb Antney, who rose to fame for breaking the careers of several high-profile artists, such as Gucci Mane, French Montana and Nicki Minaj.
