Los Angeles, CA (The Hollywood Times) 7/19/23 – Our heart will go on and on when you step aboard the Titanic Exhibition in LA. The exhibition previously opened in December of 2022 up until January of 2023. Now it has reopened its doors for all Titanic fans!
There, you can embark on the journey as if you were one of the passengers with their interactive tour. Learn how the Titanic was constructed and all the details of the tragic event as well as information about deep sea expeditions. You will see recreations of the ship’s interior and exterior as well as its sister ship, The Olympic.
See some of the recovered items, White Star Line objects, as well as props and costumes from James Cameron’s famous 1997 film. You can walk through recreations of the actual Titanic, and even feel how cold the iceberg was.
Before you set sail on the tour, you will be handed a boarding pass up front with one of the passenger’s names and find out what happened to them at the end of the tour. The passenger that I got was a second-class housewife who was onboard with her husband. She survived, but her husband was declared lost.
Catch sight of how it felt to discover the sunken remains the famous ship by walking about a sea floor complete with sand and broken artifacts. You will see on screen what the Titanic discovery team saw during their dives.
The exhibit is incredibly immersive, and informative. Truly a must see.
