Los Angeles, CA (April 13, 2021) — Love Has No Limits, a Los Angeles based collaborative volunteer movement of organizations from around the world, brings its key 7 Initiatives in 2021 (see list below), to help Southern California residents affected by the pandemic, and those with desperate ongoing needs, all-across the region.
The movement’s final initiative will bring 20,000 team members from across Southern California to unite in L.A. the week of July 18-24, with the final day, being the unprecedented 1DayLA event, culminating at a major event and live broadcast on July 24 (details TBA).
The Love Has No Limits / 1DayLA movement will invest 1 million in person service hours into hundreds of L.A. county blocks, powerfully impacting its communities through thousands of ongoing service projects. More than 10,000 individuals and 200 organizations have already signed to commit to their involvement, including much of the Hollywood/L.A. community, national and local influencers.

With a staggering 40,000+ children currently in foster care in Southern California, and the COVID-19 crisis heightening its impact, Love Has No Limits launched a key initiative to address this desperate issue. Without intervention, statistics (HERE) show that most of these kids get “stuck in the system” and wind up being incarcerated, homeless, young parents, poverty stricken or trafficked.
In this key initiative, Love Has No Limits has joined hand in hand with county foster care leadership organizations – FosterAll, LADCFS, and Riverside County Department of Social Services – to activate diverse faith communities, to identify loving families to foster and adopt thousands of kids waiting for a home and provide wrap-around support to existing foster families.
To address this urgent situation in a tangible way, two recent Love Has No Limits events, at which volunteers filmed the stories, passions and personalities of L.A. and Orange County kids who are ready to be adopted, took place on March 6 at the L.A. Coliseum HERE and in Riverside, California at March Air Reserve Base on March 13. The stories shared at the event will be made available strategically on social media and other outlets, for potential foster parents, as well as to equip partnering faith communities with a platform to share these stories through their Foster/Adopt campaign. Says Sari Grant from the DCFS Adoptions Division, “We are so grateful for the amazing opportunity that Love Has No Limits has given our kids who are waiting for an adoptive family. The photo shoot made all of the children and youth feel like stars. Love Has No Limits was really able to bring out each child’s unique personalities, which we can now use to find that special loving family they deserve.”
Encompassing the entire campaign, the overall Love Has No Limits 2021 – 7 Initiatives include:
- Initiative 1 – Transform local faith communities into serve centers
- Initiative 2 – Abolish $47 million in medical debt across L.A. County
- Initiative 3 – Give SoCal’s most vulnerable children a safe place to call home
- Initiative 4 – Reach, rehabilitate and restore L.A.’s inmates
- Initiative 5 – Lead thousands of homeless into rehabilitation programs
- Initiative 6 – Ignite a movement of men committed to their families
- Initiative 7 – Mobilize a historic team
Love Has No Limits’ motto is simply this: “We believe that love can change a city, inspire a nation and shift the national conversation from what divides us, to what brings us all together. Together, we’ll show the nation what love can do by saturating Los Angeles with practical expressions of love and serving one another. We want to ask a bold question, ‘what can love do?’ And not just by love, but love that stretches across the lines that divide us. A love with no limits.”
