According to World renowned Indian spiritual leader and humanitarian Gurudev Sri Sri Ravi Shankar who has been visiting LA regularly since 1989, “Los Angeles has suffered over the last few years. The energy is noticeably lower. It is important to raise the vibration and put smiles back on people’s faces” Lately, Los Angeles is regularly making the top 10 “most stressful cities in the world” lists.
To help get LA back on track, Gurudev Sri Sri Ravi Shankar has set up a series of lectures and experiential events around Los Angeles to give LA a boost. Sri Sri is the founder of the Art of Living Foundation and developer of SKY meditation. He is a Globally Revered Spiritual and Humanitarian Leader. The Art of Living Foundation is the world’s largest volunteer-based non-profit organization that has touched over 500 million lives across 180 countries, through numerous educational and self-development programs and that facilitate the elimination of stress while fostering inner peace, happiness, and well-being.

These events will be hosted by the The Los Angeles City Chapter of the Art of Living Foundation and are being titled “SIXTH SENSE: MEDITATION & WISDOM” events, featuring world-renowned humanitarian and spiritual leader Gurudev Sri Sri Ravi Shankar.
“LA isn’t as peppy and lively as it used to be. We need to reach out and put a smile back on peoples’ faces. We need to teach more people how to find their joy again.” Says Sri Sri. “SIXTH SENSE: MEDITATION & WISDOM” with Gurudev Sri Sri Ravi Shankar, will be a transformative event. Sri Sri is tireless in his campaign to bring happiness and peace to the world. He just released his groundbreaking book Notes for the Journey Within which has recently been headlining on USA today and Wall Street Journal bestseller lists. Gurudev has been touring the nation doing events and taking thousands through deep meditation experiences, profound wisdom, leaving them with an elevated mental state and a way to find their bliss. Later this year Sri Sri and fans will take over the Wash DC mall for a World Cultural Festival weekend starting Sept 29th-Oct 1st. The last event of its kind by Sri Sri drew 3 million people.
