Greed and class discrimination threaten the newly-formed symbiotic relationship between the wealthy Park family and the destitute Kim clan.

Meet & Greet with a Special Guest

Before the film, meet Jae Hoon Jung (ZiBEZI) known for his artistic contributions to the Academy Award winning film, “Parasite.”

Don’t miss the chance to see a replica of the original artwork from the film and hear more about ZiBEZI’s work.

Albert Frey: Inventive Modernist

Now on view through August 18, 2024In celebration of Albert Frey, Palm Springs Art Museum is proud to announce a comprehensive exhibition and publication on the architect’s life and work. This large-scale retrospective, curated and designed by Brad Dunning, will present rare and many previously unexhibited architectural models, drawings, films, photographs, and furniture.

A Shadow Set Free

A Shadow Set Free presents a selection of sculpture, photography, painting, drawings and prints from roughly the last 100 years. Though very different in style, subject matter and historical context, the works are united in their ability to evoke a sense of memory and convey an otherworldly aura.

Norman Zammitt: Gradations

Through October 7, 2024

As a pioneer of the Light and Space movement, artist Norman Zammitt extensively explored color relationships and geometric patterns through his abstract paintings and sculptures. This exhibition features examples of the artist’s rigorously composed hard-edge band paintings as well as his looser, more spontaneous “fractal” paintings inspired by chaos theory.

Q+ ART

To Move Toward the Limits of Living

Through January 13, 2025

Drawing from the museum’s photography, painting, and design collections, To Move Toward the Limits of Living examines how LGBTQ+ artists have used diverse strategies to respond to experiences of exclusion and discover new possibility, casting light on subjects including the LGBTQ+ self, domestic space, and the broader social world.

This exhibition is part of Q+ Art, a Palm Springs Art Museum center supporting LGBTQ+ creative achievements.

Known for her colorful paintings and sculptures of imagined creatures and landscapes, Los Angeles-based artist Alake Shilling creates whimsical artworks across media. Utilizing a variety of artistic and unconventional materials, Alake renders expressive figures conveying a wide range of emotions.
