If you want a slam dunk, go to a basketball game. When I would complain on why I am always in situations that required me to overcome various obstacles my partner in thoroughbred horse racing would always tell me that cliché. However as someone who has always been a long shot in every aspect of her life, I enjoy stories of successful people, who made their way to the top no matter what obstacles or conditions were present in their life.

From homelessness to owning seven-figure business within eight years, Linnsey’s journey exemplifies transformation. Her businesses have been consistently ranked #1 in the industry, and she has been featured in notable magazines and news shows.

Linnsey understands the entertainment industry is a vibrant and innovative community and is in town to attend red carpet events, luxury gifting suites and celebrity soirees during the 76th EMMY Awards Week. She believes that “your network is your net worth” and actively seeks to build meaningful relationships, viewing networking as essential for both personal and professional development.

From overcoming the pits of addiction to building a vibrant business empire, Linnsey’s story radiates with the power of determination, resilience, and the resolute belief in the ability to rise above some of the greatest difficulties. Under the Linnsey Inc. banner, she is devoted to nurturing growth, flexibility, and success in both your business and your personal journey. She attributes her success to her refusal to surrender to setbacks – viewing failure as not an option and success as the only possible outcome.

The Hollywood Times did a Q&A with Linnsey,

The Hollywood Times (THT): Where do you reside?

Linnsey Dolson (LD): I reside in El Dorado Hills, California, but I spend a lot of my time in Southern California.

THT: What kind of Addictions did you overcome?

LD: I overcame drug addiction and was blessed with a second chance at life. I am fully embracing every opportunity and living with purpose and gratitude for the journey that brought me here.

THT: What triggered your addictions and how did you overcome them?

LD:  At 18, I chose a career as an exotic dancer, and that’s where I started using drugs. My addiction quickly spiraled out of control, taking over my life before I even realized it. Addiction is something that can grip you so fast, and before you know it, you’re caught in a cycle that’s incredibly hard to break.

THT: What would be your advice on the first step of helping someone with addictions move forward to an addiction free life?

LD: Once you’ve decided that you no longer want to live that life, you have to be truly willing to change every part of your life connected to the addiction. It requires complete commitment to transformation. There are so many resources available to help you—everything from Alcoholics Anonymous and Narcotics Anonymous to countless rehab programs. The support is there, and you just have to be ready to take that step. I always tell people, no matter how deep you think you are in, I promise, you are never too far gone.

THT: What would be something you can tell someone to give them hope when they feel they will never overcome their addiction?

LD: This is exactly why I share my story of addiction so openly and raw. I show very raw “before” photos because I want people to understand how low my addiction took me. I hit rock bottom, but I was able to overcome it and build a life beyond my wildest dreams. I went from being a homeless drug addict to a seven-figure entrepreneur living my dream life. I want others to see that no matter how far you’ve fallen, it’s possible to rise again and create a future you never thought possible.

THT: How did you become such a successful business owner and influencer on tiktok?

LD: Once I got sober and got my life together, I truly hit the ground running. I felt like I had so much lost time to make up, and I poured every ounce of energy into building my business and dreamed of. On social media, I’ve been able to share my story and journey, from overcoming addiction to building businesses and parenting. The support I’ve received from my followers has been incredible, and I’m beyond blessed to have such a community backing me.

THT: What product or dream company would you want to be an influencer for one day (goal)

LD:  My dream company to do brand deals with would be Disney, as we are definitely a Disney family and spend so much time there—we love everything about it. I’m also a huge makeup girly, so working with makeup brands is right up there with Disney.

THT: Are you willing to speak or help people with addictions after they read your story, if so how can they reach you?

LD: I am always willing to help, so if you’re struggling in any way, please reach out to me. You can follow me on Instagram, TikTok, or YouTube @linnseydolson and send me a DM—I would love to help you out.

Please know that you’re never too far gone, and you’re not alone.
