Essentials to Pack:
1. Identification & Important Documents:
- Driver’s license, Social Security cards, insurance information, medical records, passports, and any other important documents.
- Store copies in a fireproof safe or a secure, easily accessible location.
2. Medication & Medical Supplies:
- Include prescriptions, over-the-counter meds, eyeglasses, hearing aids, and any medical equipment or supplies you may need.
3. Clothing & Footwear:
- Pack several changes of clothes, sturdy shoes, a jacket or sweater, and a hat.
- Be prepared for changing weather conditions as temperatures can vary.
4. Food & Water:
- Stock up on non-perishable food (canned goods, granola bars, dried fruits) and bottled water to keep you sustained.
5. First-Aid Kit:
- Include bandages, gauze, pain relievers, and any other personal medical needs.
