Disneyland opens this weekend, a sure sign of our “Covid Comeback in California”.  As is yet another new restaurant and nightclub gaining favor with the planning commission and on to city council approval:  Chill Bar’s Rob Giesecke and husband, William Vastardis, are behind “Reforma”, which will be in the J.W. Robinson building across from the A + D Museum.

And with live events coming back, let me be the first to invite you to the Gay Desert Guide Fun & Games Dept’s “An Evening on the Lanai: Remembering the Golden Girls” on Thursday, May 27th at Oscar’s. We celebrate the Golden Girls with season one writer Stan Zimmerman with fun trivia, giveaways, sing-alongs, and Q&A.  Hosted by on-air personality Alexander Rodriguez from On the Rocks with Alexander and a regular guest on the #ILoveGayPalmSprings podcast.
