 Coachella Weekend 1
The Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival (commonly referred to as simply “Coachella”) is an annual two-weekend, three-day event held at the Empire Polo Club in Indio this weekend (April 15–17) and next (April 22–24). Beyond the headliners of Harry Styles, Billie Eilish, The Weeknd and Swedish House Mafia, there are more than 100 artists performing across seven stages, plus activities, art installations, food, fun…and good vibes. The Alibi presents the one and only Big Freedia with two back-to-back daytime parties, Saturday, April 16 at 9:30 pm and Sunday, April 17 at noon. Known as the Queen of Bounce music, Big Freedia is a New Orleans-based hip-hop artist and worldwide ambassador of bounce music, reality series star, and collaborator with the likes of Beyoncé, Drake, and Lizzo. Complementing the Coachella Festival is Day Club Palm Springs, April 15–17 and April 22–24, with poolside programming running from noon to sundown at the Hilton Palm Springs.
