Los Angeles, CA, (The Hollywood Times) 03/25/2024- Fashion Week Brooklyn (FWBK) is expanding globally and marking its presence on the international stage with spectacular shows in London, France, and coming this December, Japan. FWBK Season 1 2024 will take place in Brooklyn on April 7-13 with a theme of “Fashion is Art,” which pays homage to the arts and creativity.
FWBK weeklong fashion events are organized by the BK|Style Foundation (BK|SF). This 501c3 non-profit is committed to “bridging fashion and community” through extensive support of creative artists globally and domestically. FWBK’s expansion globally was an excellent move for emerging and established designers, providing them with opportunities to network and develop relationships with industry insiders, media, buyers, and consumers. Designers from London and Paris will come to the Brooklyn Fashion Week.
Expect innovative, inspired, and new trends at FWBK, all focused on sustainable or reusable materials. Season 1 2024 begins on April 6 with Kidswear x Retailers at Kings Plaza Center, with Sarah Angels. The incredible partners and sponsors for this upcoming season include the UK brand, Laserskinuk, Resort World, Acumen, Cope NYC, The Confessional Showroom and Materials for the Arts .

“Fashion Is Art” Season 1 runway show is a must-see this year as FWBK celebrates its global expansion and incredible international designers. The show is carefully curated to make sure the designers and their work get all the attention and press that will make sure that after the fashion week is over, the designers have the contacts and resources needed to move forward with their brand. FWBK’s whole purpose and creation is to showcase the talented designers both domestically in Brooklyn and internationally.
FWBK has a fantastic scheduled events for everyone from Fashion Movie Evening Out on Tuesday the 9th to Sustainable, A Pop-Up Meet the Designers on Wednesday the 10th and Stylist What’s Hot on Thursday the 11th to the runway show on Saturday, April 13. Networking is one of the key components of any great fashion week and with FWBK there would be a Fashion Networking Party on Sunday April 14. All events taken place will be in Brooklyn.
