Los Angeles, CA (The Hollywood Times) 9/8/24 – When director Tim Burton received his star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, the streets were abuzz with fans who adore his uniquely quirky vision and imaginative storytelling. With the release of Beetlejuice Rides Again, I hoped it would live up to the charm of the original. To my delight, it surpassed my expectations.
Burton’s wild imagination truly comes alive on the screen. Winona Ryder’s portrayal of a trauma victim navigating a PTSD-saturated, woke society was particularly striking. The return of the original actresses for their iconic roles added a nostalgic touch that felt both refreshing and authentic.
The film’s twisty, unpredictable plot felt like a ride on Mr. Toad’s Wild Ride—exciting and full of surprises. I highly recommend seeing Beetlejuice Rides Again. It’s a cinematic experience worth every penny. Take my money, Tim Burton; we love your creative genius!
