Maurice Smith

Maurice Dwayne Smith, child of career Army man, born in France and reared in South Carolina, was groomed in journalism first at The University of South Carolina, College of Charleston and finally graduated from the University of Redlands. A sports and Bruce Lee, fanatic, he grew up with his head in the stars wishing for fame from either genre. Entertainment chose Maurice however and upon arriving in California and having bills to pay, including child support, acting, and journalism became his bread and butter, and he began also working with the nonprofit, We Care For Humanity, who awarded him with numerous journalism awards, at Los Angeles Civic Auditorium.
