Jenny Castro

Jenny Lynn Castro is a creative writer and journalist passionate about history, fashion, and pop culture. A graduate of Central Washington University with a degree in Law and Justice, her work spans arts and entertainment in both print and digital media where she has profiled and interviewed a wide range of entrepreneurs, industry leaders, and cultural icons including astronaut Ellen Ochoa (First Latina to travel to space) astronaut and engineer Jose Hernandez, Evelyn Cisneros (The first Mexican-American prima ballerina), actress Lucie Arnaz (daughter of Lucille Ball and Desi Arnaz), renowned film historian & NYU Professor Donald Bogle, and former CA Superior Court Judge Anthony Mohr. She has also connected with luminaries from the worlds of fashion and entertainment including renowned celebrity bridal designer Pnina Tornai, Patricia Ward Kelly, and multiple pageant titleholders such as Miss Texas USA, Miss World America, and former Miss Universe Margaret Gardiner. Additonally, Jenny has appeared on the Turner Classic Movies network, where she provided commentary on classic film noir. In 2023, she was honored to serve as the keynote speaker for the Hispanic Youth Summit at Centralia College in Washington, inspiring young Latinos by sharing her personal and professional journey as well as her cultural insights.
