| Outfest is proud to announce three honorees we will be celebrating at this year’s Outfest Legacy Awards!
Our 2022 Trailblazer Award recipient will be 8-time Grammy-nominated singer, songwriter, producer, performer, and fashion icon Janelle Monáe! Monáe, known by many for her visionary sound, has seen much success as a breakout actor, starring in films like Lionsgate’s Antebellum and Focus Feature’s biopic film Harriet. She will also be in Netflix’s upcoming Knives Out sequel, Glass Onion: A Knives Out Mystery!
In addition to Monáe, Outfest will honor Kerri Stoughton-Jackson with the Jonathan Howard Legacy Award, recognizing her outstanding leadership efforts as Outfest’s Deputy Director and her nearly twenty years of service. Glamazon, Amazon’s diversity & inclusion network for LGBTQIA+ employees and their allies, will also be honored with the Guardian Award which recognizes a company’s commitment and legacy to the LGBTQIA+ community.
