The day kicked off at Venue Vegas with a deep and meaningful Never Alone Conversation featuring Deepak Chopra and Gabriella Wright. Attendees then made their way to various stages across the festival grounds to catch performances from their favorite artists. The Huntridge Stage was home to unforgettable sets from White Reaper, CAAMP and All Time Low. The Fremont Stage was the place to be for all things EDM as festival goers enjoyed the bright lights and beat drops from electric performers such as from Anabel Englund, Cash Cash, Dillon Francis, and J.I.D. The BACARDÍ® Stage once again proved to be one of the hottest stages of the day with crowds gathered to watch sets from Earthgang, Ludacris and Illenium. One of the highlights of the day was the crowd going wild for Green Day’s nostalgia-inducing headlining performance at the Downstage Stage. The Downtown Stage also featured high-energy performances Surfaces, Modest Mouse and HAIM.

Those looking for a laugh gathered at The Kicker Comedy Club located in Venue Vegas. The day’s stellar lineup included Sarah Cooper, Sam Jay, Trevor Wallace, Annie Lederman and Brady Matthews. Sibling Rivalry: Bob the Drag Queen and Monet X Change also took the stage and stole the show with their hilarious banter and unmatched chemistry. Later in the evening, the lights went down as the music turned up for a wild Y2K dance party.

The day was also filled with several special events. The beloved House of Yes returned to this year’s festival and attendees lined the streets to catch the high energy Pride Parade. Performers and attendees alike embraced the positive vibes as the parade danced through the streets of Downtown Las Vegas.

Over at the Rising Stars Stage at Downtown Container Park, it was an unforgettable night for 21-year-old aspiring musician King Kell. The Dream Machine Foundation gave the talented artist who had recently fallen on hard times a chance to live out his dream of performing live at a music festival.

A fan-favorite of the day was the fully immersive BACARDÍ® Art Motel. Attendees strolled the neon grounds of the motel which featured artwork from Spidertag and Antonyo Marest. At 7pm, festival goers were treated to a special performance from Jhay Cortez live from the BACARDÍ® Art Motel.

Keeping the excitement and the party going, fans flocked Brooklyn Bowl Las Vegas to catch a special encore performance from the one and only Ludacris.

For fans who couldn’t make it to the sold-out festival, the musical performances were streamed live on Life is Beautiful’s Twitch channel. The festival will be livestreamed on Twitch throughout the weekend, so fans can catch all of action.

Day three of Life is Beautiful kicks off tomorrow at 2:00 p.m.
