Made in the USA, this grain-based gin is the culmination of a rapper superstar’s 1993 multiplatinum hit song “Gin and Juice”, Guinness Book of Records creator of The World’s Largest Gin Cocktail, and previous successful business associations with several top brand name gin producers.

Crafting Indoggo Gin was a two-year collaboration/partnership between Snoop Dogg and brand guru, Keenan Townes.

In 2020 the time had come for Snoop Dogg (aka Calvin Broadus) to introduce the spirits buying public to Indoggo Gin. It was a hit!

Why do people like this ABV 40% contemporary style gin so much?  FLAVOR.  Some attribute their fondness for this gin to the variety of botanicals used: In alphabetical order, they are Angelica, Cassia, Coriander, Juniper, Orange, Orris Root, and Strawberry. Others prefer it to other high quality gins because there are no sweeteners added.

Many imbibers have described Indoggo Gin as jammy, hints of citrus, understated sweetness, subtle berry flavor.

When I talk with friends who say they like vodka but NOT gin, a quick discussion seems to always come down to the juniper berry. Although Indoggo Gin does contain juniper berries, the flavor is so subtle that the juniper berry taste isn’t pronounced, it just adds that extra touch of (almost incognito) flavor.

SPOILER:  My absolute favorite is the “Go and Tonic” which is interesting because I never liked tonic.  Just a tip, instead of using purchased grapefruit juice I hand squeezed pink grapefruit which produced a lovely color, lots of beautiful pink pulp that cascaded and seemed to float, reminiscent of a graceful dance inside the glass.  IT WAS DEVINE!  The perfect light, cooling, and refreshing summer drink.

THE REMIX

  • 1.5 oz indoggo®
  • 1 oz lemon juice
  • 3/4 oz lemon
  • ¾ oz simple syrup
  • ½ oz honey
  • 2-3 fresh strawberries
  • 2-3 fresh basil leaves
  • Club soda, to top
  • Garnish: strawberries | fresh basil leaves

In a cocktail shaker add lemon juice, simple syrup, honey, fresh strawberries and basil. Muddle together. Add indoggo® and ice, shake. Strain into a glass. Garnish with fresh strawberries and basil.

SUMMER SHIZZLE FIZZLE

  • 1.5 oz indoggo®
  • ¾ oz lemon juice
  • 1 oz aperol
  • ¾ oz orange liqueur
  • ¾ oz orange zest simple syrup
  • Ice
  • Garnish: lemon wedge | mint
  • Optional: soda water

In a blender add indoggo®, lemon juice, aperol, orange liqueur, and simple syrup. Add ice, blend until a slushy texture and pour into a glass. Garnish with a fresh lemon wedge and mint. Optional: spritz with soda water.

‘GO & TONIC

2 oz. Indoggo®

5 oz tonic water

1 oz grapefruit juice

Garnish: grapefruit slice | peppercorns | citrus peels | juniper berries

In a tonic glass with ice add indoggo® and grapefruit juice. Add peppercorns, citrus peels and juniper berries. Top with tonic water. Garnish with a fresh grapefruit slice.
