Carlita, Francis Mercier, KETTAMA, PAWSA, Afrojack and Solomun Lead a Season of Open-Air and Landmark Venue Performances
Los Angeles, CA (The Hollywood Times) 8/4/26 – Framework, the independent promoter behind some of Los Angeles’ most anticipated electronic-music experiences, has announced an ambitious summer and fall schedule featuring international dance-music artists at distinctive locations throughout the city.
The upcoming series will transform spaces ranging from Chinatown’s historic Gin Ling Way and downtown’s California Plaza to the Shrine Expo Hall, Reframe Studios Outdoors and a major Hollywood Boulevard takeover.
The summer schedule begins Saturday, August 8, when Turkish-Italian DJ and producer Carlita headlines Gin Ling Way. KinAhau and Minus The Light are also scheduled to perform, bringing an eclectic evening of house and electronic music to the atmospheric Chinatown setting.
On Saturday, August 22, British house artist Rossi. takes over Expo Lawn with support from JAMBACK. Known for his energetic productions and club-focused sound, Rossi. has become an increasingly prominent presence within the international house-music scene.
Framework will move to California Plaza on Saturday, September 12, for Planet X, featuring Ben Sterling alongside Rafael and Dean Turnley. The open-air downtown performance will be followed on Saturday, September 19, by Francis Mercier and South African artist Shimza at Reframe Studios Outdoors.
The fall series officially begins September 26, when Swiss-Haitian producer Jimi Jules performs an open-to-close set at Gin Ling Way. The extended format will give Jules control of the musical journey for the entire evening rather than limiting him to a traditional headline set.
Framework and Goldenvoice will then welcome Irish electronic artist KETTAMA to the Shrine Expo Hall for three performances on September 30, October 1 and October 2. The October 1 and October 2 dates are currently listed as sold out, with the September 30 performance added as a third show.
Max Styler will follow with an open-to-close performance at the Shrine Expo Hall on Saturday, October 3. That same evening, Reframe Studios Outdoors will host The Soulection Experience in celebration of the collective’s 15th anniversary.
British electronic duo Prospa will take over the Shrine Expo Hall for three consecutive nights on October 14, 15 and 16. The October 15 and 16 performances are already listed as sold out, prompting the addition of an October 14 show.
The schedule continues Saturday, October 17, with PAWSA at the Rio Vista Lot at the historic Sears building. On October 24, French DJ and producer HUGEL will headline Reframe Studios Outdoors, bringing his globally influenced house sound to the outdoor venue.
Grammy-winning Dutch DJ Afrojack will present his CONTROL show at the Shrine Expo Hall on Friday, November 27, in a co-presentation by Framework and Goldenvoice. The season concludes Saturday, November 28, when internationally celebrated DJ Solomun takes over Hollywood Boulevard for what promises to be one of the most striking dance-music events of the year.
