Chris Kiser, Chief Philanthropy Officer at DAP Health, welcomed guests and opened the program. emphasizing the importance of community involvement and philanthropic support in bringing the clinic to completion.

Kiser then introduced Dr. Karyl E. Ketchum, a member of DAP Health’s Board of Directors, who addressed the gathering before introducing David Brinkman, Chief Executive Officer of DAP Health. All 3 emphasized the importance of community involvement and philanthropic support in bringing the women’s clinic to completion.
Throughout the evening, guests learned about opportunities to help complete the capital campaign for the Women’s Health Clinic, including personalized giving and tribute opportunities intended to create a meaningful and lasting legacy.
The gathering took place at The Velvet Rope, a meticulously restored hospitality property in Palm Springs’ historic Old Las Palmas neighborhood. Originally constructed in 1952 by noted desert modernist architectural designer Herbert W. Burns, the residence has been transformed by owner David Rios into a highly curated boutique destination.
Against this elegant and historic setting, DAP Health’s message was direct and timely: women’s health affects the strength and well-being of the entire community, and expanding access to care requires people from every background to stand together.
