Friday April 17, 2026, is a very special day to me. My new bestie/best friend is the Judge. To the viewers of The Hollywood Times, you know her as Maureen Meehan. She is the Executive Producer/Writer of the Independent film 60 DATES IN 6 MONTHS as well as the very successful book 60 DATES IN 6 MONTHS. Maureen really is an Orange County Superior Court Judge. She hears about cases in mental health.
I am relaunching my brand “Spoiled and Entitled” 2.0, the truth is my brand originated on the Dr. Phil Show in 2010- 2017. I was casted to portray a character named “Spoiled and Entitled”. The theme of the show was PR Maven Kelly Cutrone’s book IF YOU HAVE TO CRY, GO OUTSIDE: AND OTHER THINGS YOUR MOTHER NEVER TOLD YOU.

It was supposed to be one episode, but “SPOILED AND ENTITLED” turned into a miniseries that played weekly/monthly and worldwide from 2010- till the end of the Dr. Phil Show in Spring 2023 on Network tv. Dr. Phil was the hottest show on CBS. It opened doors that one could never dream of. Especially for a reality tv personality & Playboy model which I was at that time. I was so happy and honestly enjoyed the ride, and the whole process (high highs and low lows) of having a successful network tv show that I was part of. I was in my late 20’s and I knew that time was running out and the walls were closing in. When I slid down the bell curve, I looked at my classmates from Playboy & Reality TV land getting institutionalized, I felt blessed to be grandfathered into Thoroughbred Racing and my Branding business of “SPOILED AND ENTITLED” & “ONLY JOSIE KNOWS”. It was a miracle I landed on my feet with championships racehorses and I prevailed big time, without getting wiped out.
Kelly’s book turned out to be best seller status.
Dr. Phil had me fly to New York to be Kelly’s intern like Lauren Conrad from the hit show “The Hills” on MTV. It was a disaster and let’s say I’m not as competent as Lauren Conrad and really I am not like most talent that can be easily produced.
One of Hollywood Biggest American Television writers and Producers, David Milch sent me to his personal coach Julie Ariola at the same time while filming Spoiled and Entitled. Julie has taught big names such as A-List Actor Jeremy Renner and many of David Milche’s actors who were series regulars on his HBO series. She told me one day that I was going to get my big break as she sees big talent in me but…“THE PART HAS TO BE WRITTEN FOR ME, ONLY ME, AND NOBODY BUT ME”. She said that’s the only way for me to make it on NETWORK TV.
Well, I am still waiting for that scripted part, but in the meantime, I found my Entertainment Reporting nitch, my Thoroughbreds and my branding business, that fits everything Julie told me about my success in Hollywood.
As Kelly Cutrone was a big disaster, Dr. Phil sent me to get mentored by Lisa Bloom. Dr. Phil wanted me to talk with Lisa Bloom who wrote the book THINK: Straight Talk for Women to Stay Smart in a Dumbed-Down World.
Lisa Bloom is a prominent American civil rights attorney, author, and television legal analyst known for representing victims in high-profile sexual harassment and discrimination cases. Founder of The Bloom Firm, she has represented clients such as Blac Chyna and victims of the1960s sexual abuse scandals. She is the daughter of famed attorney Gloria Allred.
Lisa Bloom’s Think: Straight Talk for Women to Stay Smart in a Dumbed-Down World argues that women are sacrificing intellectual growth for a “dumbed-down” culture of celebrity obsession and superficiality. Published in 2011/2012, the book challenges women to reclaim their brains, prioritize knowledge, and engage in critical thinking rather than vanity.
I have to say I learned a lot from Lisa Bloom. Think did very well as a New York Times bestseller. I read the book and I started to think Lisa gave me the best advice and told me to get out of Reality TV because I am a very smart young woman. Like most impressionable young woman in the realityTV/PLAYBOY industry, I was led to believe that my outer shell was the only thing I had going for me. Lisa also told me that Reality TV does not portray the REAL JOSIE.
I feel so blessed that I found my happily ever after in my new career as an Entertainment Reporter for THE HOLLYWOOD TIMES. I Enjoyed all my entertainment careers, but reporting brings out the best version of me. What I find so congruent is the success I have had on promoting books that were written by a PR MAVE Kelly Cutrone, A Prominent TV civil rights attorney Lisa Bloom, and Orange County Superior Judge Maureen Anne Meehan. Whether its reality tv or reporting. They say history repeats itself and I look forward to the next book that comes in my life. I am “ONLY JOSIE KNOWS” and if I KNOW ANYTHING, I KNOW ABOUT SUCESSFUL BOOKS, and LAWYERS.
